The Price To Pay: Introduction

Fa’en split from the group when arriving in Everyl. She needed a moment of solitude – even if it had to be inside the busy walls of the city.

The unending storm had piqued her curiosity. After taking some time to recover and absorb all that had happened in Fanth, she explored the western side of the city – the only side that wasn’t quarantined with some strange disease. Other than a few missing person notices, nothing seemed to indicate anything abnormal as she explored the market district. Confused and soaking wet, she found herself near the docks, looking out into the great lake.

Standing on the shore of the lake where many of the docks reached out into the waters, she pondered on where her journey would take her next.

It was at that moment she saw something in the water. Something moving rapidly towards the shore. A large shadowy figure just underneath the surface of the water moved with purpose and intent. As she reached for her weapon, the creature sprang up from the water and onto the shore.

A Storm Unrelenting: Conclusion

Plenty of mishaps are occurring within the city of Everyl. Upon arriving, the group was greeted with a deluge of wind and rain. Spending just a few short hours within the city, the group learned of the strange weather events that have been going on for the better part of two weeks, a plague has also gripped the eastern side of the city and that section of the city is completely quarantined off. Finally, handfuls of women have mysteriously disappeared. With all of these events going on, it appears to the group that the city of Everyl is in dire need of some assistance…

A Storm Unrelenting: Introduction

The group has left behind Fanth after surviving the horrific events involving the Shadow Demon. Heading northeast, the group arrives in Everyl.

Tanna has managed to find herself back in the very place she hoped to flee. After their near-death experience, the group felt it necessary to recuperate in the nearest city. Her curiosity is getting the best of her, however. After the incident that occurred at the temple, she wonders how strong of a ripple was cast out across the city.

Io, feeling reluctant about the trip to Everyl, wants to keep a favorable distance between him and some of his family members in the area. He hopes for nothing else but a strong drink and a new destination outside of the city walls as soon as possible.

Moss wants a sharper lance. He thinks he can find one in Everyl.

They arrive just outside the city walls greeted by torrential rains and strong gusty winds. Rolling thunder bellows in the distance, but the storm doesn’t slow the pace of the bustling city. Although it is midday, it is dark and gloomy. The city is speckled with faint lights here and there as the group looks out onto it from the southwestern hills.
